School of the Year contest is judged by editorial staff from
Babcox Publications, publisher of
Tomorrow’s Technician, as well as a designated group from contest sponsors
Chicago Pneumatic and
WIX Filters.
There are many aspects that make today’s automotive and secondary schools stand out. To provide a fair and cumulative grading scale of contest entrants, the following judging criteria are used. Schools that are notified that they have been named to the
Top 20 list must provide additional details on their school in the following categories:
